‘Machine Manufacturer’

An Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release Retinal microscope integrates Toshiba camera from Toshiba Imaging Systems, which we summarised at the time by saying "Toshiba Imaging Systems has announced that its high-sensitivity IK-TF7 3CCD camera has been integrated into the new Micron III retinal imaging microscope developed by Phoenix Research Labs.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Parker unveils virtual terminal for farm machinery from Parker Hannifin - Parker Sales UK: "Parker Vansco, part of Parker Hannifin, has launched an entry-level ISO-standard virtual terminal for use with a range of farm and agricultural machinery.".

In March 2010, we covered the news from SICK - take a look at OLM100 enables accurate positioning on tracks which says: "SICK has developed a camera-based optical linear-measurement sensor that uses barcodes to deliver accurate, high-speed, non-contact linear positioning on curved and straight tracks.".

Take a look also at the news release from TM Robotics, TM releases latest Toshiba SCARA robot, as well as Dalsa develops GigE Vision-compliant cameras from Adept Electronic Solutions, and SKF announces 2010 training-course schedule from SKF.
