We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Machinery Directive", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Safety pack distributed free of charge from A-Plant, which we summarised at the time by saying "A 60-page health and safety handbook is incorporated in the new version of the Site Safety Pack, which provides information on topics including hand arm vibration safety". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Making robotic automation safe from Pilz Automation Technology: "Machine builders and system integrators installing a robot for the first time need to be aware of the differences between safeguarding in conventional automation and robotic applications".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Procter Machinery Guarding concerning its Guide to the new Machinery Directive - take a look at Guide explains the new Machinery Directive which says: "A free 'Guide to the new Machinery Directive' will help companies prepare for the new Directive 2006/42/EC".

Take a look also at the news release from Siemens Automation and Drives, Seminars boost safety knowledge, as well as Guide offers machine safety advice from Procter Machinery Guarding, and Testing company expands premises from TUV Rheinland of North America.
