We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Maintenance Engineers", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release PLC training courses target specific brands from Festo, which we summarised at the time by saying "Festo Didactic has developed 14 PLC training courses, covering basic and intermediate level maintenance and troubleshooting requirements for popular PLCs". The day before, we featured the news release Data logging protects 13 tonne chain from Renold Chain: "Smartlink consists of a strain gauge linked to a microprocessor which collects data about the stresses and forces the chain is exposed to during the lowering and raising of the barrier".

In January 2008, we covered the news from National Instruments concerning its NI Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite V6.0 - take a look at Instrument suite monitors noise and vibration which says: "Measuring and analysing human vibration signals can help control the negative effects of mechanical vibration on the human body".

Take a look also at the news release from Facom UK, Non-contact thermometer provides fast readings, as well as Chain diagnostics cover more applications from Renold Chain, and To outsource or not to outsource from Richard Alan Group.
