We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Measuring Instrument", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Temperature transmitter drops in with 4-20mA loop from Labfacility, which we summarised at the time by saying "Easy way to retrofit 4-20mA temperature transmitters to existing Pt100 or thermocouple sensors without removing them from the process". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Dunlop signs record test systems order from IDM Instruments: "IDM Instruments has won an order to supply several Polyurethane Universal Machines to leading flexible polyurethane foam manufacturer, Dunlop Foams".

In November 2006, we covered the news from Krohne concerning its MFC 300 convertor - take a look at Convertor diagnoses flow measurement problems which says: "Convertor possesses the world's only diagnostic function that is able to diagnose problems with both the measuring instrument and measurement process".

Take a look also at the news release from Barber InSys, Portable measuring instruments described, as well as The importance of pressure dewpoint measurement from Beko Technologies, and Meters get the measure of three-phase consumption from Finder.
