We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Mechanical Engineers", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Giving credit for in-house training from Institution of Mechanical Engineers, which we summarised at the time by saying "The Institution of Mechanical Engineers believes that snobbery regarding the government's new work-based qualifications could deepen the current national skills crisis". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release For he's a jolly young Fellow from Institution of Mechanical Engineers: "Richard Sibbick has become the youngest mechanical engineer to become a Fellow, the highest level of professional recognition from the IMechE".

In December 2007, we covered the news from Institution of Mechanical Engineers - take a look at Alternative fuels are key to carbon emissions which says: "Transport expert calls for immediate funding into alternative fuels including a multi-million-dollar investment into hydrogen research".

Take a look also at the news release from Flomerics, Group aims for wider acceptance of CFD, as well as Valvetrain technology explained from Schaeffler (UK), and Design engineers neglect CFD from Flomerics.
