We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Modbus", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Data recorders on the panel and in the field from Impress Sensors and Systems, which we summarised at the time by saying "Recorders are ideal for carrying out instrumentation checks and data logging functions across a range of process manufacturing industries". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Maseter-slave system simplifies winding operation from Invertek Drives: "The Optidrive Plus 3GV was controlled via Modbus RTU, connected through an Invertek-supplied splitter to a touch Panel and PLC".

In February 2008, we covered the news from Lenze concerning its PositionServo - take a look at Small drives suit external motion control which says: "There are two ranges of matched synchronous servomotors available for PositionServo, offering a wide range of speeds and inertias".

Take a look also at the news release from Control Microsystems, Scada partnership handles multiple protocols, as well as Terminal handles multiple USB devices from Nematron, and Data acquisition modules offer two 32bit counters from ICP DAS USA.
