We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Modular Automation", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Controller simplifies automation from Bosch Rexroth - Electric Drives and Controls, which we summarised at the time by saying "Rexroth's IndraMotion for Packaging ensures synchronisation with conveyor belts, monitors protection zones and simplifies operation with teach-in functions". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Fieldbus modules offer economical option from Vipa UK: "As part of its System 200V range, Vipa the German designer and manufacturer of modular automation solutions offer an alternative range of lower cost fieldbus and I/O expansion modules".

In August 2006, we covered the news from Bosch Rexroth - Pneumatics concerning its Pneumatically operated linear slides - take a look at Slides combine in pressure testing machine which says: "Pneumatically operated linear slides simplify the design and construction of a new pressure testing machine produced by hydraulic testing expert Curtis Assemble and Test".

Take a look also at the news release from Modular Automation International, Top design agency appoints Modular Automation, as well as Life sciences contract for new Indian plant from Emerson Process Management, and Modular gains in-house laser expertise from Modular Automation International.
