An Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release ITI Transcendata enhances Cadfix software from TranscenData Europe, which we summarised at the time by saying "ITI Transcendata has announced the release of Cadfix 8.0, the latest edition of its CAD interoperability tool that offers 3D model data exchange and reuse between different engineering applications. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Autodesk enhances 3DS Max Design software from Autodesk: "At Siggraph 2009, Autodesk has announced the Connection Extension for Autodesk 3DS Max Design 2010 modelling, animation and rendering software. ".

In June 2009, we covered the news from nPower Software - take a look at Npower launches 6.0 release of Power products which says: "Npower Software has announced the 6.0 release of its Power NURBS, Power Solids, and Power Translators products (with support for Autodesk 3ds max 2010 and Autodesk 3ds max Design 2010).".

Take a look also at the news release from Geomagic, Geomagic Studio available in three editions, as well as Motion controllers offer PowerLink communication from Parker Hannifin Electromechanical Automation, and DSSP: convergence leads to quiet revolution from Geomagic.
