‘Optical Sensor’
An Engineeringtalk guide
Start with the news release
HDI sensors gauge pressures from 10mbar to 5bar from
Sensortechnics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Sensortechnics' HDI sensors measure absolute, differential or gauge pressures in various ranges from 10mbar up to 5bar.".
Several months prior to that,
we featured the news release OLM100 enables accurate positioning on tracks from
SICK: "SICK has developed a camera-based optical linear-measurement sensor that uses barcodes to deliver accurate, high-speed, non-contact linear positioning on curved and straight tracks.".
In March 2010, we covered the news from Sullair
- take a look at SSRC compressed-air dryer cuts power consumption
which says: "Sullair has brought out the SSRC refrigerated-cycling compressed-air dryer.".
Take a look also at the news release from Stellar Technology, Stellar offers short-stroke precision LVDT,
as well as Newport releases OTS-LSC Laser Safety Curtain from Newport Spectra-Physics,
and Micro-Epsilon to display sensors at Mtec 2010 from Micro-Epsilon.
