We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Plant Control Systems", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Contract boosts power station efficiency from ABB Power Technologies, which we summarised at the time by saying "ABB's upgrade of EPRL's power station involves upgrading the existing Harmony system to ABB's System 800xA Process Portal". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Petrochemical contract formalised from Yokogawa Europe - Industrial Automation: "Yokogawa Electric Corporation has received an order to supply plant control systems to one of the world's largest integrated refining and petrochemical complexes in Saudi Arabia".

In January 2007, we covered the news from ExperTune - take a look at Lyondell signs for performance supervision which says: "Lyondell Chemical Company has executed an agreement to license PlantTriage Performance Supervision Software at up to 25 of its manufacturing facilities worldwide".

Take a look also at the news release from Emerson Process Management - Power + Water, Award recognises analyst's standards work, as well as Alliance marries gears with drives from Gudel UK, and Eureka - a new approach to vessel weighing from Weightron Bilanciai.
