We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Polymer Bearings", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Polymer provides long working life for bearings from Victrex, which we summarised at the time by saying "Hiperax bearings Victrex Peek 450FC30 are made of can support loads of up to 8 MPa while running continuously in water at 65C". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Polymer bearings prove immune to print environment from Igus (UK): "The roller bearings had traditionally been a problem in Codeology's printer applicator designs as they required lubrication and were susceptible to dust and moisture".

In November 2007, we covered the news from Igus (UK) concerning its DryLin ZLW-06-30 - take a look at Small belt actuator works silently which says: "The DryLin ZLW-06-30 is suitable for handling lightweight loads and is practically silent and fast running".

Take a look also at the news release from Igus (UK), Bearings tolerate extreme sports, as well as Polymer bearings survive altitude test from Igus (UK), and Stainless steel linear guide resists corrosion from Igus (UK).
