We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Polystyrene", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Recycled polystyrene helps green electronics from Axion Polymers, which we summarised at the time by saying "Axpoly PS02 is fully compliant with the European RoHS Directive that bans new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of potentially harmful metals and chemicals". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Polymer deal provides new blending options from Man + Materials: "Polyphenylene ether is an amorphous thermoplastic polymer blended with other polymers to enhance their thermal, mechanical and flammability performance".

In November 2007, we covered the news from Axion Polymers concerning its Axpoly PS01 FR - take a look at Flame retardant polymer from recycled plastic which says: "Material potentially offers manufacturers a variety of new high value applications, particularly where offering a recycled content provides a marketing advantage or reduces production costs".

Take a look also at the news release from Huntsman Polyurethanes, Adhesives improve sandwich panel strength, as well as General-purpose enclosures offer resilience from Spelsberg els UK, and Plastic enclosures added to MRO website from Spelsberg els UK.
