‘Position Transducers’

An Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release Micro stepper motors bring pictures into focus from EMS, which we summarised at the time by saying "Electro Mechanical Systems has supplied Precistep micro-stepper motors to Life Optics to allow it to develop a compact, reliable and light-weight head-mounted microscope.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release ITT introduces packer feedthrough system from ITT Interconnect Solutions: "The BIW field-attachable packer feedthrough system launched by ITT Interconnect Solutions is designed to provide a faster method of passing power cables through packers.".

In November 2009, we covered the news from Endevco - take a look at Pressure transducers measure up to 20,000psig which says: "Endevco has announced the 8511A series, a range of piezoresistive gauge pressure transducers designed for maximum reliability in extreme measurement environments. ".

Take a look also at the news release from Endress+Hauser, Liquiphant accurately measures liquid levels, as well as GFM416 provides onsite biogas measurement from Gas Data, and Rittal's PSM measures power consumption per socket from Rittal.
