‘Powder Metallurgy’

An Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release Bambi introduces silent oil-free compressor range from Bambi Air Compressors, which we summarised at the time by saying "Bambi has launched the silent HT oil-free compressor range.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Granta MI to feature powder metallurgy database from Granta Design: "The Global Powder Metallurgy Database (GPMD) will be made available as a data module within the Granta MI materials information system.".

In October 2009, we covered the news from ESAB - take a look at ESAB introduces portable tungsten grinders which says: "ESAB has released the G-Tech Handy II portable tungsten electrode grinder, which is said to be easy to operate and allows the electrode to be ground without using a holder or tool. ".

Take a look also at the news release from Permabond, Permabond offers alternative to welding, as well as Custom shaft seals for plastics process machinery from FTL Seals Technology, and Burkert pneumatics control tablet production from Burkert Fluid Control Systems.
