We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Pressure Switches", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Pressure switches prevent expensive downtime from Winters Instruments, which we summarised at the time by saying "A single false trigger in the steam turbines can cost the plant approximately US $41,000, excluding lost magnesium oxide production". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Switch ranges go way beyond pressure from PVL: "PVL reckons it can supply the most extensive range of pressure, vacuum, level, flow and temperature switches available".

In December 2007, we covered the news from Ametek Calibration Instruments concerning its Jofracal V 4.0 - take a look at Calibration software extends to pressure which says: "Jofracal software controls the complete calibration procedure, stores the results and provides a calibration audit trail through hard-copy certificates".

Take a look also at the news release from Mamco Precision Switches, Company updates pressure switch designs, as well as Sensors handle tough environments from Baumer Group, and Company offers new actuator options from Orange Instruments.
