Start with the news release Acquisition expands process automation lines from Rockwell Automation, which we summarised at the time by saying "Pavilion Technologies software products will be integrated into the Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk integrated production and performance suite, as well as the Logix control platform". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Imaging system isn't fooled by glass reflection from Raytek Corp: "Imaging system is designed to monitor one-side coated flat glass and addresses a rapidly increasing need as low-E glass becomes more widely used in the construction industry".
 
In June 2006, we covered the news from GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms UK concerning its Proficy HMI/Scada iFIX 4.0 - take a look at Process control software adds biometric security which says: "GE Fanuc has added significant biometric capabilities to its Proficy HMI/Scada iFIX 4.0 to enhance the safe and compliant operation of pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing processes".
