We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Process Controller", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Rotary position sensors measure displacement from Macro Sensors, which we summarised at the time by saying "The RS 1500-120 measures the angular displacement of rotating elements such as quarter-turn ball and butterfly valves, air flow dampers and diverter gates". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Connectors mount in varied environments from RJG: "RJG's Lynx Surface Mount Modules feature EMI/ESD sealed enclosures and shielded industrial connectors that make them perfect for the moulding floor environment".

In July 2007, we covered the news from Rockwell Automation concerning its 48MS MultiSight - take a look at Vision sensor simplifies assembly line inspection which says: "The 48MS MultiSight from Rockwell Automation is a fully self-contained, multi-function vision sensor, which can handle up to ten different inspections simultaneously".

Take a look also at the news release from Advanced Supplies, Viscosity sensor suits open-tank applications, as well as Vision system resolves minute differences from Sick (UK), and Peristaltic pumps upgrade lime dosing from Watson-Marlow Bredel Pumps.
