We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Product Design", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Drives provide a smooth ride from Control Techniques, which we summarised at the time by saying "The secure disable feature ensures when the secure disable input is disconnected, the drive will not operate the motor, even if combinations of components within the drive have failed". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Software cuts radio development time by two thirds from PTC - Parametric Technology (UK): "Tait knew it was imperative to identify problems up-front in order to avoid the late-stage tooling changes that slow a product's market launch".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Omnify Software concerning its Omnify Software - take a look at PLM software helps with frequent design changes which says: "The direct sharing of part and BOM information between Empower PLM and Sage MAS 90 ERP eliminated manual data entry errors and ensures accuracy of product change information across the enterprise".

Take a look also at the news release from Seminars For Engineers USA, Fundamentals of injection mould design, as well as Software models conveyor systems from DEM Solutions, and PLM suite has global appeal for LG from Dassault Systemes.
