We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Programmable Logic Controllers", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Logic controllers improve plant control from Mitsubishi Electric Automation Systems, which we summarised at the time by saying "Follman's expansion and conversion project had to be completed while the plant remained in operation and whilst maintaining a 24-hour delivery service". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release China's thirst for PLCs from ARC Advisory Group: "The Chinese market for PLCs is predicted to grow at a compounded annual growth rate of 12.4% over the next five years".

In October 2007, we covered the news from OPC Training Institute - take a look at Company launches OPC training which says: "OPC Training Institute's new workshops provide a theoretical background to its technology".

Take a look also at the news release from Yokogawa UK, System monitors hospital sterilisation, as well as PLM awards handed out from Delmia, and IEC61499 function blocks explained from ISA.
