‘Prototype’

An Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release Solidprofessor updates course content from Solidprofessor, which we summarised at the time by saying "Solidprofessor unveils its latest additions to its 2010 series of on-demand Solidworks content with Routing 2010 and Simulation 2010. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Sensor system simulates body pressure from Sensor Products: "Sensor Products has donated its Tactilus body mapping pressure system to The Leonardo Museum in Salt Lake City, Utah, for an exhibition that involves simulating pressure points.".

In March 2010, we covered the news from DSM Engineering Plastics - take a look at DSM supplies resin for steering system which says: "The joysteer X-by-wire system has precision gears made of Stanyl PA 46 resin from DSM Engineering Plastics and is now in commercial production for the handicapped market. ".

Take a look also at the news release from Ondrives, Ondrives adds pinion shafts to transmission series, as well as Grayson develops thermal resistor for hybrid drive from Grayson Thermal Systems, and Kensey Nash selects PTC Windchill PLM software from PTC - Parametric Technology (UK).
