We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Proximity Sensors", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Encyclopedia covers pressure products from Omega Engineering, which we summarised at the time by saying "Omega's handbook contains over 1200 pages of products for the measurement, display and control of pressure, differential pressure, barometric pressure, absolute pressure and vacuum". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Photo-electric sensors allow easy alignment from Banner Engineering: "M12 sensors detect objects of low reflectivity that are directly in front of another surface, ignoring the surface in the background".

In June 2007, we covered the news from Invensys concerning its Enterprise Networking and Security Services - take a look at Company explores wireless options which says: "Invensys wireless-enabled applications are in various stages of implementation at customer plants around the world".

Take a look also at the news release from Festo, Cylinders offer high-accuracy positioning, as well as Dynamic signal analysers come in USB or Ethernet from IPC Systems, and Proximity sensors handle rough treatment from OEM Automatic.
