We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Proximity Switches", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Hydraulic cylinders are cushioned for control from Bosch Rexroth - Hydraulics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Rexroth's CDM1 cylinder series covers a wide performance spectrum at a standard nominal pressure of 160bar". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Photo-electric sensors spot small objects from Siemens Automation and Drives: "Siemens Automation and Drives' proximity sensors can detect objects in a range of sizes, at ranges of up to 30m".

In March 2007, we covered the news from OEM Automatic concerning its Electrical products - take a look at Electrical products come together which says: "Electrical catalogue contains many new products from both new and existing suppliers".

Take a look also at the news release from Schunk Intec, Workholding and automation on show, as well as Acquisition gets a grip on a wider range from Schunk Intec, and Dublin debut for flexible vice unit from Schunk Intec.
