Start with the news release DC motors engineered for transportation purposes from Ametek Technical and Industrial Products, which we summarised at the time by saying "Rotron brushless DC motors from Ametek, engineered for applications on board heavy-duty transit buses, coaches and other vehicles, deliver long-life power solutions serving up to 60,000 hours.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Renishaw TRS2 saves Lamborghini EUR150K a year from Renishaw: "Same Deutz-Fahr, manufacturer of Lamborghini, Same and Deutz-Fahr tractors, has cut non-productive tool checking on four Mazak FMS cells by retrofitting Renishaw's TRS2 tool-recognition systems. ".
