‘Rotary Actuator’

A Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release Cross unveils in-line automatic backwashing filter from Cross Manufacturing Co (1938), which we summarised at the time by saying "Cross Manufacturing has introduced an in-line automatic backwashing filter incorporating intelligent valve actuation technologies. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Universal controller for vehicle hydraulics from Sensor-Technik UK: "The STW ESX is a freely programmable universal controller that is ideal for vehicle hydraulic systems. ".

In November 2008, we covered the news from Rotork Controls - take a look at Rotork adds wireless to digital control which says: "Starting with site trials in 2009, Rotork is extending the capabilities of the Pakscan digital-control system with the addition of a wireless option.".

Take a look also at the news release from Tolomatic, Tolomatic improves bagging system at Thiele, as well as Door system uses Festo linear actuator from Festo, and Flowcon launches automatic balancing valves from Essco Controls (Douglas Group).
