An Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release Bulgin Bluetooth products eliminate data cables from Bulgin Components, which we summarised at the time by saying "The self-pairing Bluetooth cable replacement products from Bulgin eliminate data cables and allow equipment with RS485 or RS232 data ports to communicate using wireless Bluetooth technology. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Encoder is compatible with MRI/NMR applications from Micronor: "Micronor's MR318 fibre-optic rotary encoder is designed specifically for use as feedback in motion control systems operating in extreme electromagnetic fields.".

In July 2009, we covered the news from Micro-Epsilon UK - take a look at CSP2008 can process six input and output signals which says: "Micro-Epsilon has brought out a programmable controller that enables the real-time processing (up to 100kHz) of up to six input and output signals from the company's displacement sensors. ".

Take a look also at the news release from Micro-Epsilon UK, Optoelectronic displacement sensors launched, as well as Safety laser scanner measures speed and distance from Leuze Electronic, and Linear magnetic encoders have high resistances from Renishaw.
