We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Safety Guards", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Safety system monitors several guards from Euchner (UK), which we summarised at the time by saying "The CES-AR-C noncontact safety switch is particularly suitable for systems in which a large number of safety guards need to be monitored". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Electronic key system improves safety from Euchner (UK): "The Euchner EKS FSA system provides completely new standards and possibilities for access management combined with state of the art safety technology".

In July 2006, we covered the news from Barr and Paatz concerning its Smart series robots - take a look at Barr and Paatz To Integrate Comau Robots which says: "Process automation and robotics specialist, Barr and Paatz of Totnes, has become an integration partner for the world renowned range of Comau industrial robots".

Take a look also at the news release from Schmersal UK, Non-Contact Guard Door Monitoring Sensor, as well as Magnetic safety sensor with monitoring module from Steute, and Position switches meet safety and Ex standards from Steute.
