We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Safety System", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Wiring standards change set to change in July from EAL, which we summarised at the time by saying "EAL has released a series of vocationally related qualifications (VRQs), which specifically support BS7671:2008". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Compact welding robot boosts speeds from RobotWorx: "The Motoman UP6 XRC robot is equipped with an air-cooled welding torch, wire feeder and Miller Auto Invision II 450 pulsing power source".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Omron Scientific Technologies concerning its NE1A-EDR01 - take a look at Routers ease access to DeviceNet safety systems which says: "NE1A-EDR01 Ethernet/IP-DeviceNet routers allow the operating condition of a DeviceNet safety system to be configured and monitored from a general-purpose Ethernet device".

Take a look also at the news release from Pilz Automation Technology, Making robotic automation safe, as well as Important changes to guard interlocking standard from Pilz Automation Technology, and Preventing the needless New Year death toll from Pilz Safe Automation Australia.
