We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Scanning Microscopy", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Dithering stages enable resolution enhancement from PI (Physik Instrumente), which we summarised at the time by saying "PI offers the high-speed, low-cost P-713 and P-714 x-y-dithering stages for resolution enhancement and scanning applications". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Nanopositioning controller rides the PCIbus from Lambda Photometrics: "Physik Instrumente has introduced the E-761, the world's first PCIbus nanopositioning controller".

In May 2006, we covered the news from PI (Physik Instrumente) concerning its E-761 motion controller - take a look at Piezo motion controller designed for flexibility which says: "PI has developed the world's first PCIbus digital nanopositioning controller for closed-loop piezoelectric positioners and scanners".

Take a look also at the news release from Norse Precision Castings, Polyurethane offers wide choice of finish, as well as Dithering stages aid resolution enhancement from PI (Physik Instrumente), and Scanning stages take position at speed from Lambda Photometrics.
