Start with the news release Electrical tester improves rental safety from Clare Instruments, which we summarised at the time by saying "The Clare test kit enables all three-phase electrical equipment to be thoroughly and safely tested without the need for the service engineer to dismantle the plug and fit links between phases". A few weeks before, we featured the news release System connects machine tools from Siemens Automation and Drives: "With Profinet, machine tools can have a real-time Ethernet system that meets the requirements of IT, automation and motion control".
