We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Signal Conditioner", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Signal conditioner controls signal to noise ratio from Pacific Instruments, which we summarised at the time by saying "The 6037's 'smart' gain ranging can reduce gain or increase it when the signal is below a specified threshold". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Signal conditioner eliminates ground loops from Endevco: "The model 4999 low-pass filter signal conditioner measures at less than 15uV for high accuracy with low-level vibration signals for any data acquisition system".

In December 2007, we covered the news from Kistler Instruments concerning its USB-connected signal conditioner - take a look at Mould sensors connect via USB conditioner which says: "Unit provides up to 16 pressure or temperature channels using four signal conditioner units each providing four signal channels".

Take a look also at the news release from Macro Sensors, Linear position sensors tolerate radioactivity, as well as Position sensors offer fine measurements from Lambda Photometrics, and Current sensors offer high accuracy from AutomationDirect.
