‘Silicon Nitride’

An Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release Barden provides super-precision bearings from Barden Corporation, which we summarised at the time by saying "The Barden Corporation offers custom-designed, super-precision bearings for use in a wide variety of high-performance air handling systems. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release UK Precision helps produce synthetic body parts from UK Precision: "UK Precision has devised a tool that allows a leading supplier of synthetic body parts, Limbs and Things, to produce an authentic artificial arm that can be used by trainee doctors and nurses. ".

In October 2009, we covered the news from Flir Systems - take a look at NIR camera includes European FPA detector which says: "The SC2500 NIR camera is Flir's first indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) model with European FPA detector. ".

Take a look also at the news release from Newport Spectra-Physics, Newport cell system measures EQE and IQE, as well as Bekaert to show high-temperature-resistant coating from Bekaert Advanced Coatings, and Micro-Epsilon launches two-wire temperature sensor from Micro-Epsilon UK.
