We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Spectrometer", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Consultancy uses CAD for varied projects from SolidWorks Corporation, which we summarised at the time by saying "SolidWorks enabled Petersen and his team to visualise how all of the spectrometer's components would shrink down and fit into a smaller unit, while ensuring against part interference". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Accelerated imaging aids analysis from Specialised Imaging: "Multichannel framing camera promises the ultimate in ultra-high-speed imaging performance in areas including material studies, automotive research, aerospace and nanotechnology".

In July 2007, we covered the news from Lambda Photometrics concerning its QMS series atmospheric sampling systems - take a look at Atmosphere samplers monitor for gas leaks which says: "The QMS gas analyser is capable of sampling gases at pressures from above atmospheric to as low as 10mbar".

Take a look also at the news release from A2 Technologies, Spectrometers offer real-time analysis, as well as High-speed cameras co-operate from Specialised Imaging, and Consultants support spectrometer design from Industrial Design Consultancy (IDC).
