We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Stainless Steel Housings", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Tiny sensors boast longer ranges from Turck, which we summarised at the time by saying "Sensors in compact housings feature sensing distances that far exceed ferrite core sensors, especially when sensing nonferrous metals". A few weeks before, we featured the news release DC motors avoid vibration from Ametek Technical and Industrial Products: "Pittman's Parallex coil-winding geometry is engineered to generate more power using less energy for maximised operation and efficiency".

In June 2007, we covered the news from Omron Electronics concerning its F3S-TGR-N - take a look at Safety switches take controllers onboard which says: "Magnetic-coded noncontact switches for interlocking machine guard doors feature built-in controllers, saving both the cost and space required for a dedicated controller".

Take a look also at the news release from Aerco, Inductive sensors boast up to four times the range, as well as Motors have novel coil winding geometry from Ametek Technical and Industrial Products, and Safety interlock switches come in stainless steel from Omron Scientific Technologies.
