We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Static Stress", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release FEA software improved across the board from Algor, which we summarised at the time by saying "V21 provides extensive additions to modelling, meshing, analysis and presentation tools based on customer requests". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Distribution deal combines CAD and FEA software from Algor: "Algor will distribute KeyCreator with its latest finite element analysis (FEA) software, Algor V21; and Kubotek USA will distribute Algor DesignCheck with KeyCreator 7.0".

In November 2007, we covered the news from Algor concerning its SolidWorks - take a look at Software helps keep skiers safe which says: "For the Targa Ascent telemark ski binding, Shute performed Algor linear static stress analysis of all of its components".

Take a look also at the news release from Algor, FEA software eases pipe design, as well as Software aids lightweight wheelchair creation from Algor, and FEA analysis certifies products for medical use from Algor.
