‘Stepper Motors’

An Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release Icona updates Aesthetica software from Icona Solutions, which we summarised at the time by saying "Icona Solutions has introduced version 3.1 of Aesthetica, the perceived-quality simulation and visualisation software.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Same-day assembly extended to Nordbloc 1 motors from Nord Drivesystems: "Nord Gear has added a further production line at its Abingdon-based assembly and service facility, expanding its same-day assembly service to Nordbloc 1 series gear motors.".

In July 2009, we covered the news from Nord Drivesystems - take a look at SK 200E frequency inverter range launched by Nord which says: "Nord Gear's SK 200E frequency inverter range combines a sensorless current vector drive with control and communications features in a compact IP55 or IP66 rated enclosure.".

Take a look also at the news release from Rodriguez (UK), Rodriguez releases latest Compacta geared motors, as well as Mercury II 1600 encoder is easy to install from Inmoco, and EISA-compliant motors now available in Europe from Baldor UK.
