We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Tachometers", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Full range of instruments on display at Mtec from Extech Instruments, which we summarised at the time by saying "The full range of Extech Instruments will be on display at Stand B112 at Mtec 2007, the top UK event for sensors, measurement and instrumentation". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Film precision is instrumental in illumination from MacDermid Autotype: "Hardcoated polyester films play a crucial role in advanced electroluminescent lamps used for dashboard displays and instrumentation in the 320km/h Ascari KZ1 supercar".

In May 2006, we covered the news from Electro-Sensors concerning its SpeedTalker DN (UI) - take a look at Tachometer runs over DeviceNet which says: "The SpeedTalker DN (UI) is a network powered DeviceNet tachometer designed to convert pulse frequencies from a wide range of sensors into rotational units".

Take a look also at the news release from Midwest Motion Products, DC gear motor works from batteries, as well as Couplings available off-the-shelf from Stock Drive Products/Sterling Instrument, and Full range on show at top UK event from Extech Instruments.
