We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Tapered Roller Bearings", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Bearings cope with harsh agricultural applications from Schaeffler (UK), which we summarised at the time by saying "Schaeffler has developed a ready-to-fit bearing unit with triple-lip sealing to avoid the need for maintenance in tough agricultural applications". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release A bearing on green design from NSK UK: "Rolling bearings provide the key to energy conservation and preservation of natural resources through improved machine life, says Kevin Delehanty".

In August 2007, we covered the news from SKF UK concerning its SKF Explorer bearings - take a look at Bearings chosen by racing car company which says: "Hewland Engineering uses SKF cylindrical roller bearings in its transmissions, as well as tapered roller bearings and four-point contact ball bearings".

Take a look also at the news release from Schaeffler (UK), Bearings improve performance, as well as Reconditioned bearings save money from Schaeffler (UK), and Bearings cut energy use by 30% from SKF UK.
