Start with the news release Compact PC offers IP65 rating from Noax Technologies Corp, which we summarised at the time by saying "Industrial 12-inch industrial TFT displays offer a resolution of 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 (SVGA/XGA), guaranteeing good readability even under very poor conditions". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Panel PCs are made for a life on the ocean wave from MAC Solutions (UK): "A range of LCDs and PCs for onboard ship applications has been launched that meet stringent E10 and DIN/EN60945 company classification standards for the marine industry".
 
In April 2006, we covered the news from Nematron concerning its Formula Industrial PC - take a look at Industrial PC systems upgrade to win new friends which says: "Nematron has made significant new developments to its Formula industrial PC systems".
