‘Thermocouple’

An Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release Metrix releases Multicon CMC-99 meter controllers from Metrix Electronics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Metrix has brought out the Multicon CMC-99 series, comprising of compact 96 x 96mm panel-mounting multi-channel meter / controllers with up to 48 analogue inputs and 16 relay / SSR outputs. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release NI introduces remote monitoring system from National Instruments: "National Instruments has announced the NI wireless sensor network (WSN) platform, a remote monitoring system that consists of Labview software and low-power wireless measurement nodes. ".

In June 2009, we covered the news from Omega Engineering - take a look at Wireless transmitters launched by Omega which says: "Omega's UW series wireless transmitters eliminate the need for expensive cable runs and enable accurate measurements in areas previously inaccessible to conventional measurement devices.".

Take a look also at the news release from National Instruments, Thermocouple module for data acquisition, as well as STS receives PID controllers from Toho Electronics from Southern Temperature Sensors, and Handheld infrared thermometer launched from Calibration Dynamics.
