‘Thermocouples’

An Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release Pepperl+Fuchs announces remote I/O systems from Pepperl+Fuchs GB, which we summarised at the time by saying "Designed to facilitate the connection of traditional input and output signals onto a bus network, Pepperl+Fuchs has introduced the LB/FB remote I/O systems.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release SKF systems boost uptime of Isis neutron choppers from SKF UK: "SKF rolling bearings and condition monitoring systems are maximising the uptime of precision devices used in the Isis neutron and muon source at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire.".

In October 2009, we covered the news from Endress+Hauser - take a look at Endress+Hauser releases temperature transmitters which says: "Endress+Hauser has invested in upgrading its temperature transmitters and introduced terminal heads and displays in order to provide a cost-effective temperature package. ".

Take a look also at the news release from Celsum Technologies, Celsum controller allows range of input signals, as well as Quadtemp2000 logger has reading rate up to 4Hz from MadgeTech, and Pulsar III infrared thermometer monitors reactors from LumaSense Technologies.
