We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Thread Inserts", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Company repairs screw threads from Alcoa Fastening Systems, which we summarised at the time by saying "Thirty to forty automotive and light commercial vehicle engines pass through Hurley Engines' remanufacturing and machining workshop every week". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Research explains thread insert performance from Cross Manufacturing Co (1938): "Cross Manufacturing has worked hard to explain the unexpectedly high performance of Cross Spiralock thread inserts in plastic".

In March 2007, we covered the news from Alcoa Fastening Systems - take a look at Wire thread inserts set for marketing push which says: "Alcoa Fastening Systems will launch a new point-of-sale merchandiser in April, aimed at current and potential UK distributors for its Recoil product line".

Take a look also at the news release from WTI Fasteners, Wire thread inserts meet updated standard, as well as Wire thread inserts perform on plastics from Cross Manufacturing Co (1938), and Fastener websites play the name game from WTI Fasteners.
