We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Torque Ratings", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Servos shrink to smaller square frames from Baldor UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "New compact AC servomotors are expected to appeal to automation equipment builders seeking to improve the productivity of machinery". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Gearbox range expands from Bonfiglioli UK Industrial Solutions: "Compared to equivalent worm gearboxes, the A05 bevel helical gearbox will offer much higher efficiency, from +12% to +85%, depending on the gear ratio".

In October 2007, we covered the news from Motion Drives and Controls concerning its Quicksilver Controls motors - take a look at Motors combine accuracy and power savings which says: "Control algorithms combine the accuracy, precision and power savings of traditional servomotors with the higher torque and lower cost of traditional stepper motors".

Take a look also at the news release from Lenze-ACTech, Servo motors offer excellent dynamic response, as well as Integrated drive produces high speeds from OEM Automatic, and Motor provides power boost from OEM Automatic.
