We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Torque Sensors", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Portable torque tools auto-detect applications from Mountz, which we summarised at the time by saying "The LTT torque analyser is designed for torque calibration, joint testing, auditing or for force and load measurement or verification of load cells". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Torque sensors keep Jaguar steering on the level from Kistler Instruments: "Nacam uses Kistler sensors and monitoring systems in a test rig to ensure that the screw threads in the universal joints for the new Jaguar XF are within specification".

In October 2007, we covered the news from Datum Electronics concerning its Datum Electronics torque calibrator - take a look at Company orders huge torque calibrator which says: "Datum Electronics' new system can apply torque of up to 200,000Nm to torque sensors and transducers up to 1m in diameter".

Take a look also at the news release from Custom Sensors and Technologies (CST), Sensor range improves automotive safety, as well as Torque transducer upgrade scheme launched from Datum Electronics, and Wrenches stand the test of torque from Mark-10.
