We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Torsion Springs", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Spring range covers a range of applications from Ondrives/Rino Industries, which we summarised at the time by saying "All load deflection figures are given in detail in the Ondrives catalogue so customers can make the correct selection for their application". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Stress free spring design and specification from Lee Spring: "Adam Binding explains the key factors that need to be considered when specifying Springs".

In May 2007, we covered the news from Abssac concerning its Abssac machined springs - take a look at Springs machined from solid metal which says: "Machined springs can provide very precise, linear deflection rates because virtually all residual stresses are eliminated".

Take a look also at the news release from Harris Springs, Acquisitions expand spring production, as well as Machined springs promise predictable torque from Abssac, and Machine mounts isolate shock and vibration from Ondrives/Rino Industries.
