‘Transformers’

An Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release Fluke offers trial promotion of Ti9 thermal imager from Fluke (UK), which we summarised at the time by saying "Fluke is offering handheld Ti9 electrical thermal imagers for electricians with limited or no experience of using them to inspect, repair and verify electrical infrastructure and equipment.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Weld controller manages three transformers from Merlin Control Systems: "Merlin Control Systems has developed a version of the PWC8 range of weld control units that is suitable for multiple transformer machines, or more complex DC machines. ".

In November 2009, we covered the news from Nexans - take a look at Nexans adds T-shaped connectors to MV range which says: "Nexans has extended its range of compact medium-voltage (MV) connectors with two T-shaped connectors designed for use with compact switchgear and transformers. ".

Take a look also at the news release from Sensor Developments, SDI torque pickup has internal digital data link, as well as Ansys launches software bundle for universities from Ansys, and Infolytica simulation software has 3D solvers from Infolytica.
