We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Transient Protection", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Relays tolerate industrial environments from Crouzet, which we summarised at the time by saying "Crouzet's new GN3 series three-phase and motor reversing solid-state relays suit a wide array of three-phase motor and heating applications". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Routers handle harsh environments from Westermo Data Communications: "ED-200 and ED-210 routers combine the functions of a switch and a packet filter for short or long distance network interconnections".

In September 2007, we covered the news from OEM Automatic concerning its SLO24TRA - take a look at Relay offers AC motor solid state switching which says: "The SLO24TRA's relay input is operated with 24V DC and the output can switch load voltages from 0 to 240 VAC".

Take a look also at the news release from Moore Industries International, Temperature transmitter consumes little power, as well as PID valve controllers offer universal application from AMOT, and Modems overcome industrial interference from Westermo Data Communications.
