We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Ultrasonic Sensors", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Radar level sensing handles tough environments from Automation Products Group, which we summarised at the time by saying "Pulse Radar sensors will operate over long distances even with target materials that have moderately low di-electric constants". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Ultrasonic sensors have clear advantages from Contrinex UK: "Because ultrasonic sensors use sound waves to sense the position of the target and are unaffected by the degree of opaqueness of the container they are ideal to detect the clearest of targets".

In October 2007, we covered the news from Vydas International Marketing concerning its MassaSonic M-300/150 and M-300/95 - take a look at Ultrasonic sensors measure distances which says: "The MassaSonic M-300/150 and M-300/95 provide precision, noncontact distance measurement for factory automation or industrial process control".

Take a look also at the news release from Mobrey Measurement, Level sensors receive software upgrade, as well as Mouting brackets ease sensor mounting from Balluff UK, and Ultrasonic sensors provide level monitoring from Baumer Electric.
