We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Ultrasound", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Reconfigurable I/O system aids machine control from National Instruments, which we summarised at the time by saying "Engineers can quickly design, prototype and deploy the customisable, commercial off-the-shelf hardware systems for embedded machine control and data acquisition". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Awards recognise young acoustic engineers from Institute of Acoustics: "The Young Persons' Award for Innovation in Acoustical Engineering celebrates the contribution of young acoustical engineers across a range of British industry sectors".

In August 2007, we covered the news from Sensor Technology concerning its TorqSense torque sensor - take a look at Torque proves crucial improve plastic recycling which says: "Research into cold extrusion of recycled plastic depends on a digital TorqSense torque sensor, which uses Surface acoustic wave techniques to provide noncontact measurements".

Take a look also at the news release from Tritex NDT, Ultrasonic thickness gauges meet new standards, as well as Level switch tolerates -80C temperatures from Magnetrol International, and Ceramic company expands dental services from Morgan Electro Ceramics.
