Start with the news release Engineering consultants make software choice from Altair Engineering, which we summarised at the time by saying "Segula uses the entire HyperWorks suite, including its solver solutions, modeling and visualisation tools and structural optimisation technologies". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Measurement range meets automotive demands from Kistler Instruments: "Handbook identifies the appropriate measuring chains for all sensors and measuring systems used in vehicle engineering".
 
In November 2007, we covered the news from Dassault Systemes concerning its Catia PLM Express - take a look at PLM system helps electric car company which says: "For the development of its next-generation electric vehicle, a four-door performance sedan, Tesla is rolling out Dassault Systemes' Catia PLM Express".
