We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Voltage Surges", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Stack light provides 360-degree visibility from DDP, which we summarised at the time by saying "An LED-based stack light lamp is designed to provide clear and distinct visual indication of machine status from anywhere on a factory or office floor". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Recorder keeps watch on power disturbances from JDL (Just Data Loggers): "The Power Watch voltage disturbance recorder from ACR Systems of Canada simply plugs into the standard UK power socket".

In October 2003, we covered the news from Phoenix Contact concerning its Trabtech - take a look at Protection for solar panels which says: "The Trabtech range, designed to protect a building's electrical equipment from lightning strikes, voltage surges and spikes, has now been extended to include photovoltaic systems".

Take a look also at the news release from Advance Electronics, Can TVSSs solve communications problems?, as well as Protecting trackside equipment from power surges from Advance Electronics, and Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors for DIN-rails from Advance Electronics.
